Julie graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in business. She started her career as a retail consultant, which allowed her to sharpen her business skills and develop a keen eye for merchandising. Now in her 16th year in the real estate industry, she started as a new home sales consultant working for a national home builder.
In 2004, she founded her own custom home building company, JBella Homes, and specialized in building luxury custom homes in some of Charlotte’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Her home building experience greatly broadened her knowledge of home construction and interior design, which are two great skills that continue to serve her well today.
In 2005, Julie founded JBella Realty mostly as a means to sell her own custom homes, but shortly thereafter, she focused 100% of her energies on her general real estate business as the economy shifted. She spent a year as the broker in charge of one of the area’s premier active adult communities, which led to an opportunity to become the exclusive Charlotte Area Buyers Agent for one of the country’s largest active adult website, www.55places.com. As a result, she is now recognized as one of the most successful real estate agents in the area. Her business is divided across the active adult, luxury and first-time buyer consumer groups.
